Based on the northern beaches of Sydney, The Health Ingredients Co. is a supplier of Plant-Based, vegan, natural and speciality ingredients catering to the Nutraceutical and functional food industry.

Our mission is to bring ethical and high-quality vegan and vegetarian materials at the best possible price to our clients. We will provide a responsive, customer-focused service to ensure ethical natural health products can be made at a more affordable price.

Our vision is for a natural and sustainable future, both environmentally and financially and for affordable natural health care in a world where the price of natural health products is not animal exploitation.

Meet Our Founder

Smit Zaveri has been associated with the Australian complementary medicines industry since 2011 with 10+ years of extensive experience alongside a solid understanding of business planning, management & technical aspects of raw materials. In recent years, Smit has also developed a thorough knowledge of raw material sourcing, logistics and procurement. Having worked in a TGA licensed facility; he is sensitive to the needs of modern businesses working in this regulated space.

Being a vegetarian, Smit noticed a need for easy access to vegetarian and vegan quality raw materials for both food and supplements and that was one of the key reasons behind establishing The Health Ingredients Co.

Smit has a strong commitment to ensuring the supply chain is ethical and that the products are truly what they claim to be.
